Chloroazobenzenes: IR and UV characteristics.
As p art of a continuing study of the biochemical transform ation of anilide herbicides and chloroanilines to azobenzenes 11 2, it was necessary to syn thesize a num ber of chloroazobenzenes 3’ 4 as analy tical standards and for use in tests of biological ac tivity. The UV and IR spectra of 13 chloroazobenzenes were determ ined to facilitate their identification. Bathochromic UV m axim a pro...
متن کاملModular High-Speed IR Cameras & Advanced Radiometry Software
This paper describes the advances to the Indigo Systems family of Commercial-off-theshelf (COTS) hardware and software. Indigo PhoenixTM camera family is being advanced to meet the demanding needs of advanced range & phenomenology applications by including things like IRIG-B time stamping, fiber optic communications, environmental enclosures, and the new RToolsTM radiometric software suite. RTo...
متن کاملFrom UV/IR mixing to closed strings
It was shown in hep-th/0301099 that the leading UV/IR mixing effects in noncommutative gauge theories on D-branes are able to capture information about the closed string spectrum of the parent string theory. The analysis was carried out for D-branes on nonsupersymmetric C3/ZN orbifolds of Type IIB. In this paper we consider D-branes on twisted circles compactifications of Type II string theory....
متن کاملUV/IR Relations in AdS Dynamics
We point out that two distinct distance–energy relations have been discussed in the AdS/CFT correspondence. In conformal backgrounds they differ only in normalization, but in nonconformal backgrounds they differ in functional form. We discuss the relation to probe processes, the holographic principle, and black hole entropies.. [email protected] [email protected]
متن کاملIR-UV double resonance spectroscopy of xanthine.
We present resonant two-photon ionization (R2PI), UV-UV, and IR-UV double resonance spectra of xanthine seeded in a supersonic jet by laser desorption. We show that there is only one tautomer of xanthine which absorbs in the wavelength range of 36 700 to 37 700 cm(-1). The IR-UV double resonance spectrum shows three strong bands at 3444, 3485, and 3501 cm(-1), all of which we assign as N-H stre...
